Dr. Sachin Fegde is an eminent Vitreo retinal surgeon from a small town, Ambernath. His schooling was completed in Ambarnath. Medical Graduation was completed from the prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Parel. Post Graduation was completed from B.J. Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, Pune. Throughout the academic career, which had been extremely bright & brilliant, he has received multiple distinctions. During post graduation, he was inclined towards super specialization in Vitreo retinal surgery and has completed a fellowship in vitreo retinal surgery from reputed Giridhar Eye Institute, Kochi under the expert hands of Dr. A. Giridhar. During the fellowship, he pursued his DNB from National Board, New Delhi and also achieved the brilliant FRCS degree from Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow.

The skills acquired during his fellowship in India were polished even more when he received Fellowship in Medical & Surgical Retina from the prestigious Unversitair Ziekenhuis, Ghent, Belgium. He was sponsored by the International Council of Ophthalmology.

After his academic career, he joined as a Consultant in vitreo retinal services in laxmi Eye Institute, Panvel to continue the job of providing excellent, ophthalmic care to the masses.

He has various publications in Local. National, International and peer reviewed Journals and is an active participant in various academic meets, nationally & internationally.
